The story
Summon3D was a SaaS platform for people running 3D printing businesses. Customers uploaded a model, previewed it, got a quote, paid, and tracked the order through delivery, while shop owners managed everything from an admin dashboard.
💡 What I learned
Everyone wants to start a 3D printing business. Plenty of them signed up for Summon3D, and the software did its job. Then, one by one, their businesses closed.
Their problem was never managing orders. It was finding customers, and my app did nothing about that. I had built a great tool for a step most of my users never reached.
Now I start from problems I can see from the inside, which is why I build for behavior analysts and for Hawaiʻi.
